Very nice, comfortable room with a balcony, large bathroom, and large luxurious shower. Good breakfast included. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open on Monday night for dinner, but other options were available within a few minutes walk.

A little beatifull pearl in Bayern!! A 5th generation family operating this hotel since 1879. And a very nice restaurant with good choices. We found this - for the prices they ask - an exceptional hotel/restaurant!

Ich war auf dem Weg von Rhein Erft Kreis nach Irschenberg mit Weiterfahrt nach Villach/ Kärnten ,musste wegen einer Autopanne in Gersthofen übernachten. Super Zimmer, sehr nette Wirtsleute. Sehr leckere Küche . Alle Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Habe mich entschieden, bei meiner nächsten Reise nach Kärnten dort auf jedenfall zwischen Station zu machen ich kann den Gersthof Stern auf jedenfall sehr empfehlen. Danke für die überaus freundliche Aufnahme

Part of the rooms have been redecorated and a part of the hotel is visibly older. We got a wonderful room with a huge modern bathroom at the back so it was quiet. Breakfast is good and varied in the typically furnished restaurant.
